- Follow-up from the Human Needs Summit
- Bring together local transit providers, jurisdictions, service providers, non-profits, and Human Needs Summit attendees that are interested in and involved in developing future transportation needs
- Presentation of results from Transit Needs Assessment
- Memorandum of Understanding Signature Ceremony to establish a Local Coordinating Council for Douglas County
This is a special opportunity that will bring together a variety of organizations that are dedicated to improving and developing transportation options, especially for transit dependent residents, in Douglas County. Rarely do these organizations come together at this magnitude.
Two panel discussions consisting of knowledgeable representatives from the greater metro area will take place: one on transportation needs and one on best practices of Local Coordinating Councils.
